Top layer bulky dressing can come off today, losing my lobsided 80’s shoulder pad look.

Paracetamol and positive thinking were nowhere near enough.
Sorted now with anti-sickness drugs and will be leaving the house again this afternoon 😊

I’m optimistic that once the pain settles and I start to get some proper sleep I’ll be on the mend fairly quickly with it just taking a while to build strength back up 💪🏻
No I am allowed out and about and am already weaning off the sling, physio’s want me out of it by the end of next week, just a bit tired and groggy still for a proper walk yet. Also a slight worry about being able to pick up after her.

The Codeine side effects kicked my arse last night, I was starting to think we were going to get along this time but I’ll take day 4 post surgery. Relying on Paracetamol and positive thinking to see me through now…

Exactly that and releasing of the CA ligament. I’ve avoided any attaching to the bone that I was expecting by the sounds of it but more shaving of shoulder and collar bone.

Surgery day. Nerve blocker in my shoulder (weirdest thing, arm paralysed). Have had chatGPT translate my operation notes into plain English and am expecting pain, and lots of it, when it wears off 😭

I have bought Crocs. A stark contrast to my usual footwear of choice (I live in my Doc Marten boots), but my arm is going to be in a sling for a few weeks so…
