To get an idea of how I want the final comic to look (plus getting in practice drawing these bots regularly)I'm doing test pages of characters at random points in time before the main plot.
I haven't made use of textures much in comics before, but they really make things pop!

We might have introduced the leading bots, but now it's time for some important supporting cast! Here's a big, spicy bull of a bot for you.
The last but certainly not least main bot- Poundcake! She took some time to nail down design and character wise, but I'm really excited for where she's ended up.

She can usually be found in the toddler corner, putting on plays with Lil Honey the puppet. When she isn't doing that, she's helping Honey Bun with his act. She absolutely adores HB- a little TOO much. As for Honey Bun? Well... let's just say he'd prefer to fly solo.
Carrie Feathers is not only Honey Bun's biggest fan- but also his right hand-bird! Hired when Playtracks Co. decided they wanted some younger talent on board to keep things fresh, Carrie brings some extra pep to the crew.
Can't wait to race some more once the full game is out!
