And FWIW, the Roberts court seems to only value speedy responses when republicans benefit.

State SC first, I’d assume.
Is this to run out the clock in the hope it becomes moot for November?
Best use of his time.
Horse race analysts gotta horse race analyze.
Pretty weak sauce.
You misunderstand, it must be a fe-male.

And the final (early voting) update on the metric I've kept tracking: Of this electorate, 49.6% are in the 5 GOP-held districts and 50.4% are in the 6 Dem-held ones.
(Just 10 days ago, that was 55% in the red districts.)
In the 2025 early vote, it was 47.5% in the GOP-held ones.
Is she the Joker?
Playing around with the House, I found (using 2024 pres numbers+1.5% shift to neutral):
In a "fair" map with reps proportional to vote share
D=227
In a "winner take all" maximal gerrymandering model:
D=204
In a hybrid where only Dems play fair:
D=163
in an election where the electorate is tied.
How do you feel about Pritzker?
Tapper really ping pongs back and forth between being a legitimate journalist and a complete sellout. Who knows who will show up on any given day?
Good. If vengeance makes that piece of crap stay on the court until he dies and is replaced by a democratic president rather than stepping down and being replaced by someone just as awful, but younger by Trump, so much the better.
One might even say that it’s a wonderful secret.
If there are any Democrats who are thinking of running for the presidency on 2028 on anything less than a clear agenda of widespread prosecution for this administration's corruption and fundamental structural changes to ensure it can't happen again, they should just stop right there.
If they just eviscerate the VRA is there time for the half dozen or so states who've been waiting on this to change their districts for 2026?
There's that famous Trumpian loyalty!
He's probably just mad your scene got cut.
🚨BREAKING: Federal Court BLOCKS Indiana law banning the use of a student ID for voting. A huge victory my law firm, our clients Count US IN and Women4Change Indiana, and the voters of Indiana.

"Corrupt" seems very low considering the -- how do you say it -- blatant corruption.
Like Elon?
Kissing his ass because he is perceived as some sort of international kingmaker may not be as appealing as it once was.
It is crazymaking to listen to the right claim Orban's loss means he was never an authoritarian when people in Hungary feared that opposing him would immiserate their families

I don't know why, but it's always the "landslide" claim that makes me angriest. He won by, like, 2%, and didn't even win an absolute majority. It's utterly pathetic.
With 90% reporting, Tisza is leading by 16 percentage points and projected to win 138 of 199 seats — above the 2/3rds majority. Crushing defeat for Orban.
The only winning move is not to play.
Is the fact that the Iran war wasn’t congressionally authorized something we no longer talk about? Seems like the reporting/discussion now just assumes that Trump can just do whatever he wants wrt the use of force
There’s also the part where he has the government pay him so that secret service can stay at his crappy golf motel.
