Hahahaha. When I see EV, I think Eddie Vedder. “NOT (N) EV,” felt like that Beemer driver was coming Eddie erasure 😅😬🙄😂

Livestock auction I’m pretty sure
Record & Tape Traders in Towson, MD was my haunt. Later I could get down with Sound Garden in Baltimore and Yesterday & Today in Rockville. What I really miss, though, is Thurd Street Jazz & Rock in Philly, RIP.
And FA is one of the piano players on Dylan’s opus “Murder Most Foul” 🤩
I’d buy two copies if it said “The Mummy”
What’s the thickness that gyros are wrapped in? Has to be sub 15
That’s livin’. And also a benefit to having an older sibling who’s into music. I taped VU, MC5, EC, Hüskers and so much else from my brother. Sadly for him, he wasn’t interested in my Fugazi
Lordy be, when I had a pile of unopened Maxell XLII 90s, it was just as good a feeling as having a full tank of gas
This came on in the car and I was dumbstruck by how great it would have sounded for Bob Dylan to cover it on Empire Burlesque

My favorite camp snack is to slice up a pepperoni stick, put a handful of slices on a stick and cook ‘em over the campfire like marshmallows
The one thing I’ve always known about Jerry is that he has a solid body head. Is it that? Is that what you mean?
“This promotional pocket square kills our guilt for not doing our job adequately against the people we know are fascists”
Too long?
I don’t wanna hijack @wovenantelope.bsky.social’s parking thread, so starting anew. Why DID it take so long to add black pepper to potato chips? Salt and pepper is one of the most beloved, if simple, flavor combinations in the world. Presumably it’s been enjoyed for millennia
OK, I’ll Play Dead for a month. Looks like there are a number of official releases still to be added, like Houston ‘72, or Family Dog 1970. I don’t collect vinyl, so I’d love for the shows that were only released as RSD LP sets to turn up.
I feel like this is an obvious win that took us literally decades to figure out. Like salt and pepper potato chips
The garage at T-Mobile Park in Seattle requires back in parking, which surprised me until I realized it only takes 2 min for everyone to leave instead of an hour and a half
“You know, son, few people seem to know it, but ‘among’ will serve you just fine”
Obviously it's not possible, but I'd love to see a hypothetical layout for the next two years of annual boxes, DaPs, and PD shows to understand how @davidlemieux.bsky.social is thinking of them all working together, complementing each other, or standing alone
...Presumably DaP will be "better" (subjective) shows because people are paying for them as CDs and/or through the app, vs. releases that are just avail in app?
Wonder what the "show profile" is for what comes out as a DaP, what comes out as a weekly Play Dead release (100 a year???), what is reserved for a box? Box stuff has to exist logically w other shows for a theme...
Yeah, that's what gets me every time. And for some of my consumption, that's fine. I generally don't need to own movies. But music is different for me, and when it gets yanked because sales are down or CEOs change course, that's the fury of a thousand suns. (Mainly at myself, because I knew better)
This'd be a great incentive. Especially for researchers
Consumer news you can use, I appreciate yr assessments
Feels like there should be a 7 day trial or some such to play around and see what the experience is like
I’m a physical media person. I buy it, I own it forever. I’m tempted by Play Dead, but I really don’t like the idea of renting shows that can be taken away at any time. Curious to hear other heads’ opinions. Excited? No? Why?

One of the hallmarks of this fascist admin is how quickly and without discussion unprecedented things happen. Suddenly half the White House is torn down. No one’s looking and the Kennedy Center is misnamed. Entire departments decimated in a few weeks’ time. Everything is vertigo inducing
Think what you’re looking for is the collected lyrics of Jello Biafra
