Yay! I got an EV parking space today.
I'm a bit annoyed at these two Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrids. When they get a space, they are camped there for the day. But when someone checks the charger status, it shows they are not actually charging.

Very true. I do not see my dependence minimization achieving total elimination.
Every few years I may have a storm-related multi-day outage. I did fine with the last one through minimizing use and a 10.4 kWh battery. I want to be able to last 3 days. Adding solar will get me there.

I am considering solar energy. I thought about just a grid-tie system to lower the bill. But there is no credit for energy sent back to the grid. I thought about adding a small battery. But now I am thinking minimizing dependence from the power company.

Now if the temperature is cooler outside than inside then a fan blowing hot air out of the housencould cool the house through exchanging the hotter air with the cooler air.
...and the heat it has taken from their body away, making them feel cooler. If there is no sweating person under the fan, then no evaporative cooling is occurring.
Though probably not substantial, but the fan's motor may add waste heat to the room.
Fans do not cool rooms. They cool people.
I've explained this to 2 people. One of these people would be gone from his home 11 hours a day and leave the ceiling fan running all day to keep the house cool.
If there is a person under than fan, the flow of air carries away their sweat...

I'm not into photo-realistic games tbh, so this DLSS5 thing is going right over my head. Which is odd, as when I started off in computing, the idea of a realistic games character was something I dreamed of. I think it probably peaked for me with the seventh generation of consoles (PS3, etc)...
I think that first, a game needs to be fun. Photorealistic boredom doesn't appeal to me. Nintendo appears to have valued fun over graphical fidelity.
Also, constraints sometimes force creative solutions.
