The sims 4 has come leaps and bounds to help those feel seen

I suspect that Meliahwyl's anxiety and social awkwardness would get oversimplified, and people would forget that she's actually quite diplomatic and does/masks well with strangers.

Deeva's hair doesn't really change. However, Astarion goes through a hair journey.

He starts the first act with his curls, Act 2 his hair is more grown out and tamed, and Act 3/post Ascension he is back to his curls but, they are more untamed, long, and wild.

Rach keeps her hair the same length after the journey, but eventually she does chop it off but that's probably years later. It's be a dramatic change, but welcomed. #rach

Valin starts the journey with long, thick hair. Hair is very important to the drow culture for showing status depending on the style. Once becoming consort though he eases up a bit letting his hair become messier and even shaves around the back of his head.
