Can you name a comic run that’s widely praised but you didn’t enjoy? For me it’s Grant Morrison’s New X-Men…liked the start, but it lost me over time and I eventually bailed. Morrison’s someone I need to explore more, haven’t appreciated them at all yet.

•Imperial (4 issues) wasn’t Hickman’s best…felt rushed, rehashed, with odd continuity/characterizations.

•Imperial War one-shots added much-needed depth.

•Betting Imperial Guardians will be the highlight of the Imperial story.

Maybe it’s the people with “MCU is bad” as their personality or people complaining about a comic they never read based on a synopsis or a panel, or shxtting on people for getting excited and hopeful from new music…but kindly remember, people need things to be excited about…

Everyone has something that brightens a bad day, something they are passionate and excited about. If you’ve found yours, you get it. So why try to dampen someone else’s excitement? Let people enjoy things. 🧵

That’s the point though (just uploaded 2nd part) that he wants the events to lead to something more, rather than doing something and then putting it all back at the end. I like his thoughts on this.
