The photo was taken a few days ago, and today about half of the flowers had started to bend towards the ground so I brought those into the kitchen. Hopefully we get a few more days before the cold gets to the ones outside.

That’s what I thought Sharon. Still, it brings a splash of colour on an otherwise dull day.

Bamburgh Castle under dark and stormy skies with a slither of light on the horizon and seagulls being blown across the sky.

I was getting annoyed at the seagulls being blown into my photos by the gale, little blurry blobs flying so fast I couldn’t freeze them in shot without crazy ISO, but now I realise that they portray the reality of being in that storm. Feel the wind in your hair through a photo!
