She never got to voice her final frustrations or concerns as she watched her beloved be attacked by Vecna, denied by Correlon, and fade from her memory as she herself died feeling used, defeated, and lost.

Nieve was the bodyguard to the Viridian Queen. She loved her so much that her body, heart and eventually soul were given over to her, never pushing even as her love was never returned. She was doomed to die, because her position left no room for public disagreement or denial of the queen’s plans.
