No money for Americans’ health care, food, or energy prices.
But billions after billions for Trump’s reckless war of choice.

This kind of antifeminism is a socialism of fools, wherein working class resentment at exploitative elites is diverted into anger at feminized phantasms, like “HR.”

DYK? HPV risk in women extends beyond young adulthood, with a late-life increase.
A large US study finds high rates of infection among younger women, a dip in midlife, and an increase starting at age 70.

Since his dad was re-elected, Forbes estimates Eric Trump's net worth is up 10x, to $400 million.
How are you doing?
They paused Oversight Committee hearings the minute we started getting answers about the Epstein files.
Now it’s “roundtables”: no rules, no oaths, no subpoenas.
You do the math. Because the moment accountability shows up, they shut it down. The survivors deserve better.
The second-most reckless driver in NYC - whose RAM 1500 truck has racked up 547 speeding or red-light tickets since 2022 - is a NYPD officer.
All that a police spokesman would say is that those speeding tickets were "not related to his job."
A+ local journalism:

over at the newsletter I wrote about the White House Correspondents Association dinner, and the pitiful complicity of our broken brunchlord access press
it's wild how not one of these alleged titans of journalism has done a single deep dive into how maga is literally a protection racket for sex offenders
DeLAURO: Do you know how many manufacturing jobs the US lost per day during the first year of President Trump's second term?
LUTNICK: I don't know
DeLAURO: More than 100 per day. This isn't a trade policy that delivers for working people.
“It is no longer enough—or even that useful frankly—to discover the hidden forces of reaction in the world. There just aren't that many hidden forces to find, because reaction has stopped hiding. What is necessary is to fight it.” www.liberalcurrents.com/what-is-woke...
The Epstein crisis is escalating.
Reports say Ghislaine Maxwell may be seeking a pardon as lawmakers demand answers from the DOJ over missing files and unanswered subpoenas.
This isn't going away.
"Traders placed a series of bets worth $430M on a drop in crude prices just 15 minutes before U.S. President Donald Trump said he would extend a ceasefire with Iran on Tuesday."
Reminder that the top official at the SEC responsible for investigating insider trading was recently forced out.
Hello?
What actual advantages of higher ed are left? There's no space for political expression disfavored by the regime, and in fact the university makes workers a target for doxing or worse. Outside of the few lottery winners, there's no job security. And LLMs seem to be seriously damaging pedagogy.
No idea who this reporter is but if that's what you're seeing ... maybe write that, rather than waiting for TMZ? nymag.com/intelligence...
Around the same time he was attending this forum on academic freedom, Bhattacharya was cancelling the publication of a CDC study because he didn't like the results: www.nytimes.com/2026/04/22/u...
Here is a list of people Bhattacharya has been involved in censoring through retaliation in his role at NIH:
Jeanne Marrazzo: katzbanks.com/wp-content/u...
Kathy Neuzil: katzbanks.com/wp-content/u...
Me: www.nytimes.com/2025/11/13/u...
I just stumbled across this. Warning: it may require deep breathing to get through.
The fact that Bhattacharya continues to tout academic freedom after censoring people, science and projects at both NIH and CDC is wildly absurd.
His hypocrisy is astounding.

Thread of the day. Buckle up, Jay Bhattacharya’s hypocrisy will make you 🤮
Sounds about right for this administration.
PabloReports: Who do you think Trump should fire next?
AOC: Is he out of women? Trump only seems to have the capability to fire female secretaries. If you’re a man in the Trump administration, it seems that they reward misconduct.
“Superpower Suicide” is a concept to help understand the approach of the Trump regime to the rest of the world. We are fighting a war for no reason we can name, losing it, and covering our defeat with genocidal and apocalyptic propaganda.

I suspect, however, that Republicans have not had this realization, and that they simply believe that disenfranchising Democrats is good but disenfranchising Republicans is bad. If that’s the case, then this race to the bottom will continue indefinitely. On Monday, Trump called the new maps a “shameful effort” to “silence the voices of Virginia conservatives.” He either didn’t remember or didn’t care that he had set off this whole process by demanding that liberals in Texas and other Republican-controlled states be similarly silenced. In fact, the president complained in a post today that the election had been “rigged” by virtue of the fact that all the votes—including mail-in ballots—had been counted.
If Republicans have had a belated realization that gerrymandering is bad, they should work with Dems to ban it entirely. I suspect though that they think it’s just bad when it happens to them. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
George Washington ordered mandatory smallpox inoculations for soldiers in 1777.
"The indictment is a grotesque attempt to recast white people as real victims of racism. In the DOJ’s telling, advocates who spent decades dismantling the Klan are its secret benefactors, 'enriching' themselves by secretly creating racism — something in such short supply it can only be generated."
Anyone who goes and pretends that Trump isn't currently waging a war on the free press should be ashamed of themselves and should find a new field.

If a doctor went to an event giving honor and respect to a quack claiming to heal patients by saying a few magic words, you'd doubt the integrity of that doctor. How can he be trusted to act in good faith when he's willing to do that?
Same thing here.
America’s federal public health infrastructure has its roots in the effort to stop having your army riddled with malaria.
