They let us know 30 mins before the shift end that we have to report to the office even though PCH is closed and the canyon gets so backed up.

Two 12 hour shifts working the emergency operation center in Malibu has me tired. It’s so mentally exhausting.

The gross stuff you read about the Malibu and palisades fire is disgusting. Not everyone in those areas impacted are rich. Some of us work there. My work and my livelihood is impacted if my job burns down.

I want to save money but Im moving back to my hometown which is also the most expensive in the US. 😭
