i fixed my sleep schedule for a couple days but now we're back to being up at 2am </3

its kind of hard to like portfolio day anymore because its so full of posts from really great artists who have had gigs with a ton of big studios and are somehow also struggling and out of work. like its cool to see everyones art but its another reminder that the state of everything rn is just. bad

i only download the apps that i like and want.. you cant make me download apps.....

i think we should kill all extraneous apps that companies and cities try to force upon you. get an app to pay for parking? just fucking tow me i have enough quarters to pay a meter but you TOOK OUT THE METERS. and put little signs like :D pay on the app :D fuck yiou

anyways thinking again about how my phone bricked itself my very last semester of college and i was without a phone for three weeks and the only way to log into my school email was through using 2fa via phone (authenticator app or phone number). IT ended up having to give me a USB fingerprint key

like wdym there are no other options given to me rn other than that damn app. no

i hate 2fa but ill put up with it sending me a text. downloading an app? absolutely not.

AND. i think that MAYBE just maybe sometimes backstory/lore/whatever is better when it is vague stop telling the audience the answers let people connect the dots and make assumptions and theories

the loreification of everything ever..... i blame fnaf for every media deciding that everything needs to have some crazy dark edgy twisted fucking cycle path backstory without even doing the legwork to earn it

EXACTLYY that and talking over the character dialogue/cutscenes and then being like huh? what happened?? irritating

it's an unfortunate byproduct of the internet's changing tides but you will see more and more artists distance themselves from broader spaces because of the innately noxious parasocial relationships built around the idea of "enjoying art"
