I agree! Excellent view from my hotel window in Berlin! It’s good to be back.
I’m at an exhibition of Renaissance maps. This is from 1596. Just sayin…
Yes, I think they first crop up in the survey in 2016 as they are adults by then. If I was designing it properly, we could show that subtly in the labels + vertical lines.
I always think you should just say what the key point is in the title – then do a chart that actually illustrates that point!
Sorry, this just showed up in my feed and the chart annoyed me so much I had to quickly make this in google sheets
Conducting the On Think Tanks School UX workshop
I loved running our UX workshop at the OTT school.
30 fabulous think tankers worked tirelessly creating and testing user-centred wireframes and sitemaps.
All the while, they asked smart questions and debated key issues about how think tanks organise their content.
Incredible work team!
Thanks Patrick. We debated this and the result is that it only looks at the last three years content. However, we also have a "evergreen content" box in the back end which Nuffield can tick against older content if they want it included.
I'm not the right person to ask about Pinecone as I'm not in the dev team but it seems to be doing the job really well in this instance! Really glad it's worked well for you.
But - as with all such things, it's experimental and we want feedback. So do let us know if you find anomalous or inaccurate results.
Hi Erin – the short version is that we use Pinecone to create a vector database of Nuffield's content which gives us really good search relevance. We then create the overviews with Open AI, but it only uses the most relevant content. If the answer is not in in that content it will say so.
One of the great pleasures of doing think tank comms is being able to be creative and try things out. And that's exactly what we are doing with this shiny new AI tool that lives within the @nuffieldtrust.bsky.social website, giving evidence based answers to any question you may have on health policy

Nuffield bot is live!
I'm super proud of it and immensely grateful to @nuffieldtrust.bsky.social and @leonoramerry.bsky.social for letting us run weird experiments on the Nuffield site.
me please!
