sometimes just adding a bubbler to circulate a bit more can be enough too. I added two, and I haven't had issues since.

I agree about it looking like cyanobacteria (blue green algae). usually caused by low circulation in my tank.

keep at it. I had a huge die-off at one point related to a diy decoration in the tank. once I got that out it's been on a steady increase. I've recently started culling the rillis and more pale red shrimp into my 125 gallon. Looking forward to your tanks progress. 😁

they have no predators in the tank so they are pretty chill as long as you don't move to quickly. not sure I'd say trained😅
