Game 157: Glasgow Harp 0-6 Drumchapel Amateurs.
Drumchapel make it 15 wins from 15 games in the Caledonian League this season.
If anything it was even more one sided than the result suggests, especially in the first half.

It's football night.
I'm continuing my recent voyage of Caledonian AFA discovery in Scotland's strongest amateur league.
Tonight I'm taking in Glasgow Harp's home game with Scottish Amateur Cup finalists Drumchapel Amateurs at Allan Glen's in Bishopbriggs.

Game 156: Hurlford United 2-3 Glenafton Athletic.
A hard fought contest. 2-2 at HT, the second half wasn't quite as open or entertaining. Some would say scrappy.
Glens created very little but they conjured a 75th minute winner to take home the points.

Four goals shared in an eventful first half at Hurlford.
Glenafton were 2-0 up inside ten minutes before their goalie made an astounding triple save, but Hurlford dominated the last 20 mins or so, and have got themselves back level.

Pie review: Onion Pie, Hurlford United FC.
Enjoy these Scotch pie variants whilst in Ayrshire. Heavy and sweet onion flavour throughout the filling rather than on top. Tasty. Shell tip top, maybe the best of the season. Could have been warmer.

What a lovely night for a game. Not a cloud in the sky.
I've opted for Blair Park in Hurlford tonight, where home side Hurlford United host Glenafton Athletic in the West of Scotland League's Premier Division. The sixth level of Scottish football, and 8th play 13th.

Extra time needed at Hampden. No goals, not many chances to score one. A poor spectacle in all honesty.
Dunfermline the better side for me after half time, but that's not saying much.
Falkirk had the best chance of the second half, a shot that went wide.

Not much of a first half at Hampden.
Dunfermline spurned a really good early chance but haven't produced much aside.
Falkirk have exerted a fair amount of control without really testing the Pars keeper.
Hoping for a better second half.

It's Scottish Cup semi final day.
A huge derby clash between Championship side Dunfermline Athletic and Falkirk from the Premiership at Hampden Park.
Falkirk are strong favourites.
A good crowd expected, though the crowd will be a long way off capacity.

Game 154: Coupar Angus 1-2 Forfar West End.
West End miles ahead in the first half and deserved a two goal lead at the break.
Coupar steadied the ship second half, got one back and had chances to score another but couldn't salvage a point.

Pie review: Steak Pie, Coupar Angus JFC.
First pie for ages and a decent one. Sourced from the butcher in nearby Burrelton. Pastry good. Filling 'pulled' not chunky so not a lot of texture. High quality but gravy needed a bit more seasoning.

No rain the whole drive... as soon as I parked up in Coupar Angus, biblical rain.
Not ideal with Coupar Angus hosting near neighbours Forfar West End in a Midlands League game.
The good news is that Foxhall Park is playable, just.

Game 153: St Mungo's 0-1 St Patrick's FP.
Neither side helped by slippery conditions under leaden skies at Loretto.
St Pat's found the St Mungo's keeper in top form but found the net with ten to play. The home side missed a big chance in stoppage time.

I enjoyed myself watching Caledonian League football last week, so I'm repeating the experience tonight.
A first game for me at the Loretto Playing Field near Bishopbriggs where St Mungo's host St Patrick's FP in a 6.45pm kick off.

Game 152: Stenhousemuir 1-1 Inverness Caley Thistle.
Draw about right, with Stenny the better side after half time. Deserving of their equaliser, which came from the spot (vid).
Arguably a better point for Caley, but only if they win their game in hand.

Not a pie review: Chicken Burger, Stenhousemuir FC. No delicious Ochilview pies left. One of the saddest things I've ever eaten. Brought a tear to my eye. Chicken piece decent but too small. Or bun too big. BBQ sauce improved it marginally.

Inverness deservedly 1-0 ahead at Ochilview.
They got off to a fast start and scored after a quarter of an hour through MacLeod.
As the first half has progressed Stenny have played their way into it and carved out a couple of half chances in response.

A quick dash along the M9 and up two divisions for a big game in League One now.
Stenhousemuir head the table by two points but title favourites Inverness Caley Thistle have a game in hand.
This one will have a big say in where the title ends up.

Game 151: Linlithgow Rose 4-1 Clydebank. A comprehensive win for Linlithgow, which leaves the Lowland League title in their hands going into the final games next week.
Self inflicted in many ways for Bankies. Some excellent finishing for the Rose goals.

An absolutely disastrous first half for Clydebank at Linlithgow.
Down to ten men early on, gave away a bad goal and their goalie should have done better with a second one.
Linlithgow in control of this game and the Lowland League title race now.

A big day of football ahead, starting with what might prove to be a Lowland League title decider.
Leaders Clydebank are a point ahead of hosts Linlithgow Rose going into today's game at a busy Prestonfield.

Game 150: Giffnock North AAC 5-1 Glasgow Harp.
Good quality game on an excellent pitch at Northolm.
Harp drew first blood but Giffnock equalised immediately and quickly went ahead.
Result in little doubt from there, with three more goals after half time.

Game 149: Burradon & New Fordley 2-2 North Shields Athletic.
A decent grassroots contest to round off the day. In pleasant spring sunshine too.
Two evenly matched sides, draw the right result.

Down the leagues for my third and final game of the day.
Second plays third in the Northern Alliance Premier Division as Burradon and New Fordley host North Shields Athletic in a 6pm kick off at Burradon Recreation Ground.
11th level of English football.

Game 148: Blyth Town 2-0 Blyth Spartans.
Town take the Blyth bragging rights.
For me, Spartans were the better side for an hour or so, though it wasn't a great game.
Town got a stunning first goal and scrambled second for the win. Att 2,002.

Half time in Blyth, no goals.
Not many clear cut chances either, though Spartans have had a few decent moments.
Town have had their fair share of the ball without threatening much.
One of those situations where the game needs a goal.

Not a pie review: Double Bacon Cheeseburger, Blyth Town.FC.
'Wor Scran' van. A hefty portion, this. Could take or leave the bun, but quality inards. Burgers thin but the size of a record. Lovely sweet onions, plenty cheese. Only one rasher.

Game 147: Jarrow 2-2 Boldon CA.
A missed opportunity for Jarrow, with their goalie throwing in a late equaliser. After he gave away a penalty for the first Boldon goal.
One to forget for him. His counterpart had a good game for the visitors.
Att 507.
