If it’s all a bit much, you can always retreat inside a comforting book for a bit. We’ve got loads to choose from, take your pick! - Michael
I pretty much feel the same.
Just listened to the Arsecast. Very open, very honest and on the money. You can hear it in your voice. Take care.

Call it out in golf, in tennis in boxing. Never watched a Saudi boxing match, never will. I get it is difficult to walk away from a club you support but people do. We can all make choices around what we are willing to accept for success.
The always brilliant Late Junction this week is brilliant with one of my new musical obsessions Milkweed in Session. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...
Have a batch of client who have used the platform in the past but are increasingly disaffected with it because of rising costs and declining value of the leads.
100% this Mike. The issue in terms of local SEO is they are really strong in the SERPS often top, if not generally top three. ChatGPT also uses it and returns results from it for local searches. It needs legislation not just guidance.
Printed in the Spectator - hardly a neutral publication is it. The fact that the government want teachers to be properly qualified appears to be an issue with her? I am not sure she understands the term "Marxist" either.
Is the head teacher the usual suspect?

100% - no complaints the better team won. Howe seemed to have our number. Isak knew how to play the center backs and did it brilliantly. Squad is too thin - I know injuries haven't helped but why did't they recall Nelson at least?

On this day 20 years ago my feature documentary My Name Is Albert Ayler premiered at Göteborg International Film Festival.
If all goes well a restored and properly upscaled version will be rereleased later this year.
Just heard @gunnerblog.bsky.social talking about your celebrations after the 3rd, 4th and 5th goals. Go girl!!
Neville appears to be an outrage algorithm all of his own. Caught is a web of click bait and BS. Never sure if it is purely performative or he believes it and just lacks the self awareness to work they are terrible takes.
100% this
Second part of my interview with the wonderful Richard King where he discusses his brilliant book about Arthur Russell - Travel Over Feeling. First broadcast on Panic Radio on Warminster Community Radio in 29th January. www.mixcloud.com/highwayfive/...

Good luck to him going back to the club he loves on less money than he could have bagged elsewhere. Can't let me go now unless we get a fee and some cover.
The Artificial Human on BBC sounds is great. Aleks Krotosk used to do the brilliant Digital Human(lots of those in the BBC Sounds App) and has now moved onto talk about AI. Whip Smart and clever. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...
If you haven't never listened to 99% Invisible its a wonderful Podcast. About elements of design but so much more than that. Insightful, funny & I always come away having learnt something new. Try this one as a starting point. @romanmars.bsky.social open.spotify.com/episode/33r2...
Just stumbled on this beautiful track by Helefonix. The whole LP is beautiful but this track is my favorite one.

They also chat about Sonic Youth as evangelists for other bands, from the Butthole Surfers to Nirvana, how they were psychedelic hippies not punks, and how their final album The Eternal was a wonderful swansong.
