Two people already beat me to it, but I would certainly start by changing that 'k' to an 's'.

Umm, this is still going on?
I guess an education in science is probably something the justices had to suffer through as undergrads. Or maybe they just skipped it lest it might have kept their GPAs below what Harvard and Yale low wanted to see.
It is profoundly appalling. Among other things, It ratifies that science simply lives outside the legal world, and is thus of no concern. At its heart it also shows that Roberts is just a conservative politician, and makes it clear why he placed Trump above the law.
The US has first rate scientific talent that he can draw on. The Fanta is amusing at some level, but the same ignorance is malignant when he stands up in public as the president and proclaims that global warming is a hoax and the world is really cooling, while mocking those who say otherwise.
I’ve spent a good bit of time there over the years.
I was amused by the premise of the mediocre book, “Who Got Einstein’s Office?” about the IAS in the mid-80s. The author assumed that it would have been preserved as a shrine, and had to completely readjust his approach, mainly being dazzled by all the brilliant scientists.
Funny, I was, too! The PI is someone I last had contact with in 2017.
I think you would find that it rubs you the wrong way.
The old Boeing 707 first class head had a little window.
Drive me off this picture!

Now is when we need a royal flush
Headline reads: White House budget seeks to scrap 54 major NASA science missions. Over an image of Jupiter.
Experts found that the White House budget request for the upcoming fiscal year could defund 54 NASA science missions, including a spacecraft currently studying Jupiter and two planned Venus missions: www.scientificamerican.com/article/whit...
Probably just gathering all their carry-ons out of the overhead compartments.
Jeez, I didn’t remember Apollo taking this long to get out.
Well, she was primed for it - you have to factor that in.
Dear G!
How are you?
Nice story about J. E. in New York mag, you look great on the picture. I know you are very busy flying all over the world. How was Palm Beach? I cannot wait to go down. Give me a call when you are back in NY. Have a great time!
Love, Melania
I don't see an issue.
Take a 2D scene & collapse along some direction to a line trace. Do this in different angles & you can reconstruct the original 2D image from the 1D traces. This is how images are made from CAT scans. Bracewell solved this problem before it was needed decades later.
Thus tomography was invented.
Abe Silverstein provided the name. It was just something he liked. There were no studies, committees, reviews, or anything.

My apologies for pointing out why the video was clearly fake.
I like how in the video Mare Orientale is in complete darkness, which to put it mildly does not comport to the true illumination at closest approach.
A little discarded snakeskin that I found by our pool today. The head and tail portions are missing, and hey the snake outgrew it, so where ever he or she is, I know they're considerably bigger than this.
So then isn't it they cannot be exact complements? Crescent can be anything just shy of 90 degree phase - gibbous is just a bit more.
I would love to see a long thread digging into this. I've spent my career doing electronic imaging, but I've also looked through large telescopes & respect the dynamic range & synthesis that the eye does. So what is missing in the data? Is it just a matter of presentation?
But, I’ve been looking at the Moon my whole life by eye and telescopes. Why doesn’t it look brown to me that way?
Funny - I was just thinking about the approach to Pluto.
