I am not a fan of how much he advertises and praises integrating Claude Code into this system.

Any Blender pros here? I have this 3D scanned sneaker that I want to reprint, but I want to flatten the sole without deforming the shoe, so that it retains the distances as much as possible.
What's the best way to do that?

WIP version of Threes from July 2013 where the guys had funny faces and were also as tall as their value (look at the 384). Imagine a 6144 Volleo...

The bottom slice is from runrepeat and they see nothing wrong with this design. I'm guessing they're paid by the compannies? Because who in their right mind looks at this and thinks it's ok. Doesn't make sensein my head.

Yeah and Adidas has 10.5 too. No grid. FOR NOW. New Balance also puts this grid abomination in their shoes, so you cannot trust them.

There's zero reason for them not to switch to shittier design next time you buy them.

Yeah my Nike Pegasus Air had their cushioning pockets shrunk by half. It's not cavities but it's still happening.

The website I got the 2023 shoes cutout from sees no poblemin this design so Ihave zero trust for these ind of reviews.

I'm at the point where I'm jsut 3D printing my own :P I mean, my Adidas 10.5 I use for MTB are solid and don't have the grid.

BUT there's zero reason for them not to do add grid for the next generation. And even if they don't how can I be sure they don't mess up somewhere else? I have zero trust

I'm like, not trusting any product from a brand that does this, sorry.

Yeah that's because the old versions are much better. I went through all the brands in the store after this happened and Vans use the awful grid as well nowadays. There's no escaping the enshittification.

Just to make it clear, the bottom design of the sole will physically hurt you.

Here you can see my heel after a full GDC day of walking with the box structure clearly imprinted.

I've checked and vans do the same now.
