It's funny how rare it is for good AAA video game ideas to be adapted. I haven't seen any other game do anything like Shadow of Mordor's Nemesis, for instance, or copy the subtleness of the in-environment wind compass of Ghost of Tsushima. I think it's partially a consequence of dev cycle length.
