First Facts convention of 2026 in the books!
I’m really happy with how the panels went today; it’s a pure pleasure and privilege getting to chat with three of the best in the business: David Petersen, Gabriel Rodriguez and Gary Frank
Will post the audio of these soon!

So Trump is all but outright saying that the US is gonna drop a nuke on Iran?
That maniacal bastard is basically threatening mutually assured destruction.
The entire world is at the whim of the thinnest skinned person on the planet, and NO ONE within the US political system, branches of government or armed forces has the balls to stand up to him.
Watched Lord of Illusions tonight, and it fucking ruled. Barker forever
Superman, returned from the dead, in his black and silver suit
He is risen
I’m the luckiest guy in the world
I love how he hasn’t appeared for a few days and all over my socials are people hoping that it happened

Caught the new DD Born Again, pretty great start to the season
@gailsimone.bsky.social Hi Gail,
I think you’d enjoy these pics of my girlfriend’s Red Sonja cosplay taken on holiday in Edinburgh last week! (she’s @palepainter on instagram)
We’re big fans! Hope to see you again at Thought Bubble in the near future
In my element
(Inside me there are two readers)
We’re deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sam Kieth.
From The Maxx to his work across comics, Sam brought a completely unique look and voice to the industry. His art was raw and unmistakably his. Sam's influence will be felt for generations.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
This is super sad, Sam Kieth was a genius, one of my fav comic creators, a big influence and one of the reasons I'm working in comic these days. Big big hug to friends and family.

RIP Sam Kieth
An artist with an immediately recognisable, and inimitable, style.
As much as his artwork was unique, he was a singular storyteller as well. The Maxx alone subverts the 90s style over substance aesthetics into a metaphysical, contemplative epic.
A huge loss for the comics world
Had a great evening at the Brussels Comics Art Museum! Their current Métal Hurlant exhibit is excellent. But most of all it was a joy listening to @hellomuller.bsky.social & Philippe Ghielmetti’s graphic design work in comics!
Biased, but I think my girlfriend’s Absolute Catwoman cosplay is the best one that I’ve seen 👀

Pretty crazy how important the blockade of a trade route is right now
I'd been wanting to do this for a while but made enough time to squeeze it in. Based on George Perez' cover for New Teen Titans issue 1.
Would be good to see you, mate!
Going to London comic mart this weekend, any pals going too?
So, I finished Jeff Smith’s Bone today.
An overall staggering feat of committed comics storytelling. The continued quality of the cartooning alone justifies its success with (young) audiences. But it also strikes a deft balance between gag and gravitas. Deservedly evergreen
Incredibly sad news to hear about the passing of Jacopo Camagni, the Italian comic artist, whose work on Nomen Omen made a real impression on me.
Begging for the interesting times to stop
Kicking myself for not reading it earlier. Bone is just wonderful
