It’s not like the original film just skipped bits. They fundamentally wrote them out. Let’s hope the new film leans towards book faithfulness over original film faithfulness.

The odd thing to me about the Colbert announcement is he said it would be faithful to both the book and the existing film but the film is fundamentally inconsistent with the book on the material planned to be covered.

Small improvement but HoMe Base now has Tables of Contents for Volumes 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11. We've also been working hard on text type designations for the Ainulindalë chapter in Volume 10.
