If the author has already made a conclusion, they should lead with it and not resort to clickbait tactics to trick people in to reading topics that aren't worth reading.
Same goes for sites that publish conjecture or lies as truth (search for "Mac Mini M5 review" for an example)

i dont use any centralised social media - only atproto or pubsub systems - and self host ~90% of the services I use (Discord and email being the main ones I still outsource, and I am not talking about services purely for consumption like youtube) and prefer blogs + RSS over stackoverflow etc
