We, living a half hour drive away, have yet to manage a visit. We've tried twice, and been thwarted both times by illnesses. We'll get there eventually. The WETA Workshop tour in Wellington was great. Did that a few weeks back.

I wouldn't go specially for it, just whenever I desperately needed a hair cut. I'm too cheap to go often π
The itching does mostly go away with time. The Barber normally tidied things up, shape wise, when getting a hair cut. And I would go over with a trimmer sporadically. Whenever it got annoying. Tried oil for awhile, but it didn't agree with me.
