You know, I'm starting to think there may have been some downsides to the US electing the literal stupidest and most evil man in the world as President, twice.
Who's gonna tell him?
Taking care of business. We need to do this and move on.
He warned us he would run our country like his businesses.
Popping in from a deadline, ahead of multi-state travel, to tell you that you all should go see Project Hail Mary on the big screen right now. It's a heartwarming triumph. I cried so much (complimentary). I encourage theatrical viewing because it's just *gorgeous*. www.amazon.com/salp/project...
Just got home from seeing Project Hail Mary and ohh boy did they nail it. I wish there was a bit more science (Grace figuring things out/conducting experiments in zero-g) - but it is a 2.5 hour movie already, so I understand sliming it down a bit. See it. You’ll laugh. You WILL cry. You’ll love it.

I was planning to read The Terror when I found The Abominable - The Terror was not available through Libby, The Abominable was. But it is on my list!
Damn you know he’s a liar lol. All living Presidents said hell no we haven’t spoken to that fool lol !!!
He thinks you guys are idiots !!!
Markwayne Mullin has defended fatal ICE shootings, pushed extreme anti-immigrant policies, denied the 2020 election, and shown reckless judgment unfit for leadership.
Tell your Senators: Vote NO on confirming him as DHS Secretary!
No thank you.
A couple vacations at a remote mountain house and get snowed in. The wife begins talking in her sleep. Then the husband realizes she's speaking to someone or something that's outside, and it wants in.
Seriously, if nothing else - read the prologue. I still find myself thinking about it.
A lot of people say Stolen Tongues was the scariest book they've ever read - the prologue by itself is the scariest thing I've ever read. Creeped the hell out of me. The rest of the book is pretty good, some genuinely creepy parts but I found myself tiring of it by the end. 3.5/5 ⭐

A group of four friends attempt to be the first to summit Everest in the mid 1920s - but of course there's more danger on the mountain than the ice, wind and snow. Simmons seems to have done plenty of research and after 600+ pages, I find myself wishing for more.
Went into The Abominable by Dan Simmons knowing nothing but the synopsis I had read on Goodreads, which lead me to assume it was horror - it is not. More historical fiction/thriller. Not what I normally read, but I greatly enjoyed it - A bit of a longer read and greatly detailed. 4/5 ⭐

wow! Rand Paul begins Markwayne Mullin's hearing by confronting him about comments he made describing Paul as a "freakin' snake" & "celebrating" Paul getting assaulted
"I wonder if someone who applauds political violence is right to lead an agency that has struggled to accept proper use of force"
I've been saying for a while, A24 is going to fall off. They're doing too much.
FROST: We asked Pam Bondi multiple times, are you going to come and speak with us under oath? She would not say yes. We want her under oath because we do not trust her. Why don't we trust her? Because she's a liar.
I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.

"If people stopped spending their money on evil corporations, those corporations would go out of business."
Another year full of laughter, adventure and unconditional love. I am forever grateful.
This new ball they’re dropping in New York is honestly awful. Bring the old one back.
Another fun fact: Donald Trump has more felonies than there are trans athletes...
No way Drumpf would EVER understand this.
In case you were wondering, Jack Smith's testimony was the *opposite* of "total exoneration."
This is perfect. The DOJ's embarrassing snafu with disappearing redactions was the fault of Elon Musk. Musk cancelled government subscriptions to Adobe programs that would have made the redactions permanent. What a pack of fools.
Can someone please respond to Stephen Miller with this message from Frank Sinatra?
