With billions in new funding, ICE is buying the most powerful surveillance gear on earth to spy on civilians.
In our latest video, we expose the scariest ways that ICE are spying on people, and break down how the tech actually works...

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Kuvassa on Gourmet-yhtyeen jäsenet ja teksti "To 23.10. klo 19 Gourmet Symposium -levynjulkaisukonsertti, liput: 15/20 €".
Milloin olet viimeksi kuullut Gourmet'ia livenä? 25 vuotta sitten? Et koskaan?
Nyt on harvinainen (*) tilaisuus, sillä yhtye soittaa torstaina 23.10. klo 19 Malmitalolla vuoden ainoan keikkansa, jossa juhlitaan uutta Symposium-albumia (LP myynnissä keikalla!)
(*) Edelliset keikat olivat v. 2023!
I made an album and as a social media amateur forgot to tell about it here. It's called Esa Onttonen Labra (the name of the group) and it's out now on digital platforms and as a vinyl LP. Other musicians: Jarmo Saari (g), Antti Kujanpää (org), Mikael Myrskog (keyb) and Joonas Riippa (drs).

This has a great Mike Gibbs horn arrangement! I believe I still have a copy of the condensed score Mike used for an arranging lecture back in the 1990s.
A man of a certain middle age receiving his longawaited pre-ordered @divinecomedyhq.bsky.social album "Rainy Sunday Afternoon" today = 👍👍👍👍👍
Happy to also have the deluxe edition 2CD with tracks from the Barbican 2022 concerts, which I attended!
Yes, it has a couple of great tracks but not quite as solid as Nuclear Nightclub.
Being, the album they did in 1974 before the Virgin deal, is probably my personal favorite alongside N.N. With a different main singer and songwriter, it's dark and murky, less pop and more "progressive" than N.N.
A great album! Often getting the top spot(s) in Finnish best album rankings (Disclaimer: I'm a Finn).
A person is sitting and talking behind a laptop and holding a vinyl album in his hands. A TV screen displays a slide from his presentation.
Just had a presentation at the Rhythm Changes "Jazz Futures" conference in Amsterdam about certain aspects of my upcoming album (more about that later).
Additionally, found some Mingus and Nascimento at Concerto record store to complement my collections!

A fantastic album! I also became a fan of Quarteto em cy due to this album.
Huomenna on Bandcamp Friday, jolloin kaikki roposet ohjautuvat artisteille. Tässäpä oiva tilaisuus hankkia digikokoelmiin Gourmet'n uunituore "Symposium", jota ei diginä muualta löydy! (Vinyyliversio: esim. Levykauppa Äx).

Hieno levy!
Here's "Pink Camel", the closing track from our upcoming album "Symposium", recorded live at @glivelabhelsinki.bsky.social in 2017!

I've been re-listening to old Elton John albums from the early 1970's, when he really had a good run with superb albums such as Tumbleweed Connection.
I'm especially fond of the arrangements by Paul Buckmaster, who also worked on Miles Davis' "On The Corner" - quite a different beast!
What's the best thing to be found in a mailbox? A new Jean-Claude Vannier album! You can call me a fan: my pre-ordered CD copy of "Jean-Claude Vannier et son orchestre de mandolines" on @ipecac.com arrived today.
