Learning to and creating art is not a waste, nor is cultivating skills you enjoy using! Having a full time career in art, especially to start, is really hard and involves a lot of luck--in opportunities and circumstance. I hope you'll get the chance in the near future, but do get some rest!

Image depicts 4 drawing steps of a Eastern Kingbird sketch study from a previous post. The first step is a rough sketch showing the form, second is a detailed sketch, third is a color wash much like using water color over pen and ink, forth is a final render attempt. Very rare do I get to take my sketched to final because of time and life. But this one I really liked the pose and mood of so I took this time to do a proper treatment. Progress was captured live on CassWArt Twitch channel, from sketch study to final piece. No AI used ever in the creation of any of my artwork. Need to make that very, VERY clear.
