FF:FS was meh. I was really hoping for something impactful. The Incredibles-esque retro-futurist aesthetic is cool, but…that’s about it.

And it didn’t end how I expected, given the Thunderbolts post-credits scene. Like, I get it. I get what’s happening. But meh.

TIL that “catamaran” comes from the Tamil (a South Asian language) word “kattumaram”, meaning “logs bound together”.

So cool, although I wonder why English can’t just call it a kattumaram. Like, we have all those sounds. 🤷🏼‍♂️
