Didn't move, didn't explore, just sat on her lap, occasionally adjusting himself or nuzzling into her hand. Wasnt scared of the hospital, just calmly laying on her lap purring. Have never seen a cat act like that. Just seemed like he knew instinctually that she wasn't doing well and how to help.
So, had to say goodbye to a friend here in LA for over a decade on Wednesday. She has had a number of health issues for years and it was time, but still obviously incredibly sad.
What broke me was that she was allowed to have her cat brought to her in the hospital, and he just laid next to her.
