This gives away the whole game, as people have been warning for years and years. This is identity erasure of a whole class. the precedents for having documents revoked by group…are not good.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex—Season 1
Presented in both the original and English-dubbed versions
Of the myriad adaptations of the foundational cyberpunk manga Ghost in the Shell, the animated TV series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex arguably comes closest to capturing the breadth, vision, and thematic complexity of the original. The twenty-six-episode first season unfolds as a riveting science-fiction crime procedural, following the members of the specialized police unit known as Public Security Section 9 as they investigate high-profile cyberterrorism incidents in a future where humans have increasingly become cybernetic hybrids. Their work ultimately leads them into the case of the Laughing Man, an elusive hacktivist whose attempts to expose a vast web of corporate and political corruption threaten to destabilize powerful institutions. Combining sleek visuals with provocative themes surrounding the dissolving boundaries between humans and technology, Stand Alone Complex remains a thrilling high point in the art of anime: absorbing, intelligent, and often unsettlingly prescient.

I'll only ever consider supporting voter ID laws when:
1. Valid IDs are made freely available to EVERYONE who qualifies for one.
2. Getting the ID is accessible. This probably means mobile vans because not everyone has transportation and public transit sucks.

The other thing I recently ran into is the digital offering can also be worse than physical in multiple ways. I bought an anime tv show on Apple TV. It doesn’t have the bonus stuff (expected), but it also don’t support multi language or some of the subtitles.

I’m kind of amazed at how bad the album art association on Apple Music is. And the fact there isn’t an easy way to delete or remove it is even more confusing.

These rock salt alternatives for clearing ice and snow are safer for your pets and yards It's easy to dash to the closest hardware store to grab a bag of salt, but experts say there are a lot of environmental and other factors to consider when tackling all that ice and snow.

I suspect there's a lot to be learned from the decline of the British Empire here. As time went on, colonialism became less and less profitable. Private companies would extract all the wealth by pillaging resources, leaving the British government to foot the bill for occupation & administration.

They're going to *throw out* one-of-a-kind NASA archives?!

Not even a year since the Inauguration & we're already at the 2nd-time-as-farce version of the burning of the Library of Alexandria.

I wore some musician oriented ear plugs (hearos) to the last show I went too and it was perfect. My Apple watch was freaking out at the noise levels the entire time but when I took them out after, I didn’t even have ringing. It was great.

I wound up getting the “animated” variants of the iron man mod armor and the war machine for a lot of the same nostalgia reasons. The replicated the 90s packaging and everything.

It’s from the Marvel Vs Capcom fighting games. One the earlier ones did a palette swap and called it War Machine. Later versions were more accurate. I thought it was an odd choice for a release but I assume it was a quick and easy thing.
