I love when playtesting someone says, "I wish I could buy this right now." Had an awesome time playtesting at Mepacon. Didn't get a ton of "you need to change this" type feedback, which I think is good. It shows me it's close.

Which color fabric should I use to make dice bags?
Here is my potential army of cats! Let me know what you think. If you were buying an indie game that was part of a small batch run (25-40) would you be okay with PLA printed cat cubes. Or would you prefer plain wood cubes that I'll likely have to ship from China to keep the cost down. ๐ค
Okay may have printed this one too small. Playing with the idea of 3d printed cat cubes instead of using wood cubes. Upside, they are cute. Downside, uses plastic.
It's fun when doing research means playing games.
"One off experiences are valuable" really resonates with me. There are plenty of games I'd consider a good experience and would recommend that I'd probably only play once.
My copy of Bonsai Diary came in. Can't wait to dig into it and grow my own !
One of my playtesters sent me this article this morning: www.pennlive.com/opinion/2026...
It's very timely for my Harrisburg: The City Beautiful game. I'm going to have to rethink a few things possibly!
We are really excited about publishing Color Jam, designed by @stickydoodler.bsky.social and Joe Kell. It's a cozy, print-and-puzzle coloring game for one or for you and some friends. It's perfect for lazy summer evenings or for when you want a whisper of strategy in your coloring. ๐๏ธ๐๏ธ
Thanks! Those are all photos of Harrisburg and feral cats around here that my husband took.
Players at the unguided section at Unpub took photos of the game. Since I didn't take any, I'm glad I got these with the feedback form!
Had a good time at Unpub, the immediately had a week on vacation in Mexico. Need a few days to catch up on things and probably go through my notes.
It's been a busy few weeks. Here's me chilling with a lobby cat.
Had a full house at playtesting on Wednesday. It's so nice to see the community growing. I just wish there was more time in the day!
One of the things I like to do when designing a game is do way too much research into the subject.
Proud to be the 4th backer ๐ on @BackerKit Crowdfunding for Medieval Merchant, a unique buying and selling board game.! www.backerkit.com/c/projects/j...
I was told they had to combine some like ideas to make sure they were broad enough to apply to multiple nonprofits and also some were so alike that it made more sense to combine than to have an unmanageable amount.
Okay I need y'all to stop what you are doing and vote for something for me: www.tfec.org/spark-landin...
And vote for these two:
Providing Access to Games and Recreation (This is to help raise money for more diverse game designers)
Managing Feral Cats Humanely and Effectively (For TNR) Please vote!
My first attempt at making a box. The graphic is a little off center, but it'll work for Origins Unpub!
Any of my friends going to Origins free on Thursday at 10 am. I need a few more folks to fill a slot of The Establishment so it can go off. tabletop.events/conventions/...
HBG Day has a really cool space you can rent if you want a private spot for your group. With 6 people, it'd be like $40 split. www.hbgalliance.org/store/p/over...
I'm a mean dragon. Roar.
Went a little overboard making components to play test Community Cats ๐
I can't stop buying plants. These are two new ones. A wandering dude and a Rex begonia
I once caught the same dumb opposum four days in a row
Picked up a solar RPG from Exeunt Press this past weekend. Excited to crack it open and hunt monsters.
Our security camera AI has identified this morning dove as a pet. I guess we have a new pet now.
I'll be there! Join us at Lazarus games on Saturday.
