Same. Also, weary of knowing that men, including Black men, were having their brains bashed into permanent damage.

Thanks for confirming, Karina! 🙂
Help, please! I'm trying to identify European countries with a specific residency requirement for those elected to their national legislature. Are elected members of the national legislature (lower chamber) required to live in the district which they represent? Grateful for any who can provide info.

Unofficial turnout in Ohio: 69.69%; range was 82.35% (Putnam County) to 40.91 (Greene County). Turnout in Cuyahoga County (63.93), Franklin County (65.57%), and Lucas County (61.41%) were below the mean. liveresults.ohiosos.gov
Apparently "Democracy dies in darkness" was a plan, not a warning.
I've canceled my subscription to the Washington Post and have canceled my Amazon Prime subscription. I've sent that money to Emilia Sykes and Mary Peltola instead.
Cleveland Museum of Art.
I do not understand why Harris and Walz are not campaigning in Ohio. It's infuriating. We're a state that has actually constitutionalized abortion rights less than a year ago. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
Many thanks to Farida, for her very kind comments about my work in this article. They're a model of generosity. And they made my day.
Early voting begins today in Ohio. Find your polling place and information re: voter identification here: www.ohiosos.gov/elections/vo.... Elections have consequences. If you don't vote, there will be an election outcome nonetheless, and those who do vote will decide your future for you.
Today is the last day to register to vote in Ohio. See olvr.ohiosos.gov.
If you're not registered, you can't vote.
Elections have consequences. If you can't (or don't) vote, there will be an election outcome nonetheless, and others (those who do vote) will decide your future for you.
Also last day to register to vote in OH. See also www.ohiosos.gov/elections/vo....
What I don't have on my phone: Facebook, Instagram, any social media, apps for WaPo or NYT. Better for my mental health (and time management).
Vote Yes on Issue #1.
I love when Walz talks about agriculture. Seriously.
The AFL-CIO has a pretty good bingo card.
Moment of gender with the new Lincoln Project campaign ad: "It's time to be a man and vote for a woman."
True for my county (Summit, OH).
I always have a sign in the yard and a sign in my front door, between the locked storm door and the main door, hence unstealable. And thus far no one has taken my yard sign(s), across multiple elections. Putting up signs on Monday.
This is like JD Vance bingo. I only got six, however (although post-menopausal and grandparent is probably double-counting).
I have never seen a US Senator trash-talk his own state -- until our junior senator has done so, and persists in doing. Hoping this will make him a one-term senator (and not even VP).
Harris and Walz should campaign in OH to show that they value all citizens in the Buckeye State and to force Vance to return to OH to campaign and justify his knowing recital of lies. Ohio just rejected raising the amendment threshold and constitutionalized abortion rights. Campaign here.
She didn't choose anybody who was actively mobilizing to end democracy in the US....
Same.
