Amazing! Congratulations- it’s gorgeous!
Come listen to me talk about religious certificates next week! Featuring a fun mix of stranger churches’, recusant, and Church of England approaches to religious paperwork.
I intend to say this next time someone asks me to do a task
Medina Sidonia to Philip II, when asked to lead the Spanish Armada:
‘I have no doubt his majesty will do me the favour I humbly beg and will not entrust me to a task of which, certainly, I shall not give a good account; for I do not understand it, know nothing about it, have no health for the sea’
Sounds fab!
Thanks for this! Might I be added?
Yes! Because what if that gap turns out to be insurmountable, and I have to rethink everything? Of course that is also writing - you don’t know what you want to say until you’ve said it - but this time around it feels like there’s no time for rethinking (I’m lucky if there’s time for thinking)!
So daunting - I think it’s knowing how much work it really takes, so it feels like everything has to be perfect from the start or it goes in the bin. A sort of second book fear of commitment?
How gorgeous!
Thanks, Maria!
Thank you!
So honoured and delighted by this news!! 🍾
