I watched a tutorial on proportions
Any artists out there, I got a quick question
What should I practice with this format? Should I just do front facing stuff and then once I get used to it go for more tilted and dynamic stuff? What do you guys recommend
I decided to take some time outside and draw, my dog sat next to me so I decided to take a picture of him and draw him as best as I could
Fur/hair is hard for me so it doesn’t look great, but I’m pretty proud of the general outline I gave him. I can at least tell what I’m looking at
I feel like you can apply the same thing to any art, like writing or music. Just work on an old song/rework one of your old stories, and vice verse
Please, for the love of GOD redraw your old artwork if you're going through an artblock.
It's so much better than just doing nothing all day but self-loathing your current work.
If you don't know what to draw or are stuck in a rut:
Draw a seal dancing on top of a whale in the middle of the desert. Your brain needs to logically try and imagine it in order for you to draw it, opening the floodgates of your mind for what you ACTUALLY wanna draw.
Works 75% of the time.
Did I cook?
