Janice Zhao, MD, medical oncologist, explains colorectal cancer and how it starts. Dr. Zhao also talks about screening guidelines and discusses the advantages of receiving colorectal cancer treatment from the Froedtert & MCW Cancer Network.
The trial is for women who have metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer for whom standard treatments have not worked. It is evaluating if the zanidatumab combination is effective in controlling the cancer while helping patients maintain quality of life.
In a phase III national trial, researchers are comparing a targeted therapy, zanidatumab, given with chemotherapy to a standard drug, trastuzumab, also given with chemotherapy. Yee Chung Cheng, MD, medical oncologist, is the local principal investigator.
