Oh for sure! One of my beloved family members was listening to Limbaugh as a preteen (!) and after a few years of that nonsense, figured out for himself that that guy was full of shit.

I would expect children to adopt childish things & then grow out of it when they see its destructiveness.

By and large, attending hs reunions decades later showed me that most of those asshole kids grew up to become asshole adults. If I wasn't a scrawny little imp back in the day, who knows, maybe I could've fought back rather than channel my energy into drumming.

Far be it from me to defend the way either of us were treated in our youth, but as a fellow former kid who was bullied, did either of us turn out to be school shooters or fascists?
