We are looking for a child-centered, inspiring SENCO who champions inclusion and has the skill and passion to elevate teaching and learning for all.
Could this be you? We’d love to work with you!

@ictevangelist.bsky.social Hi Mark. Just wondered if you knew anything about meta glasses. I have been recording snippets of teachers with some. Do you know if they offer discounts for teachers in UK as well as US?
I am looking for examples of teaching & learning playbooks or people who are currently using them.
I need to write one and would love any tips to make it as good as it can be. Thanks.
Pls RT
‘Our pupils deserve the best’
Definitely. Also helps with quality of work and high standards.
23 years in the art room has shown me you provide the absolute best quality materials, the students value them and appreciate working with the best stuff. Better work as a result.
Sunny uphill Lincoln.
Three cardboard figure sculptures which we are transforming into 'mountaineers'. The children have built these basic sculptures around a simple box shape for the torso, then gradually added more and more detail just by cutting shaped from cardboard.
Here is one of the sculptures a little further on, the children have built up the clothing and added a backpack, helmet, tools, and other accessories.
I've had an amazing day at Westfield College in Weymouth. The children are building sculptures of 'mountaineers' and this is the progress just today. The ideas, and the level of detail in the work is incredible, have a close look. These children all have additional needs. 👍

Hope it all goes really well today. Enjoy this weekend.
We had them a fortnight ago - took me a week to get over it!
Thanks! Most choose a self portrait - they are always more invested then 😁
More Year 10 drawings. I always love seeing how the students respond to this task.
NEW POST: "This much I know about...what I contribute now that I don't teach any longer" a reflection upon a @clairestoneman.bsky.social tweet about teachers who don't teach any longer and who now talk about how to teach to people who still teach... www.johntomsett.com/this-much-i-...
If you use Estée Lauder Advanced night repair - absolute bargain on QVC today.
A 50ml AND a 75ml for less than £100.
Happy #Internationalwomensday
When I told SLT I was pregnant (in 2007) I was asked:
‘What kind of a working mother will you be? Will you be like …. Or be like…..’
Both were women teachers at school.
Has a man ever been asked this question when announcing he is due to be a father?
Hope it went well. Rest up x
Thanks Jess ❤️
I am just sat, staring blankly - too tired to do anything.
Roll on the weekend.
Hope you have recovered from it too.
Absolutely mental process.
Thanks Vicky - I cannot wait for the weekend!
One more day.
Lovely classes tomorrow too. All KS4.
Thanks! I look like something from a zombie film.
Ofsted in this week.
Absolutely shattered. I gave myself a fright last night - I looked in the mirror. Oh dear!
Ofsted certainly take their toll!!
Roll on the weekend.
Ramadan Mubarak.
Wishing everyone a very happy Ramadan. Xx

The day before this photo was taken, a teacher took me to one side and told me I’d better dress sensibly for the 6th form photo.
Couldn’t let him down!
I carefully pick my battles with students. He didn’t.
I also get that free with Barclays. No clue why either 😂
My lovely Sam at training tonight. Loving his new bike and longer handlebar stem.
Shame the velodrome is over an hour away from us.
This was also us. Nearly every day. Son is now nearly 17 and has left school. He is now doing farming. Outside. Open. He is doing much better. Hang in there.
We still have the odd meltdown but not as violent or often.
Son was also a model student and school had no idea.
Nancy’s half birthday today.
Best buy a cake on the way home. 14.5 today 💕🎂
Half birthdays are the best 😁
Looking for recommendations for school promotional photographer.
Images to use on website etc.
I have never been interested in target grades for my students. They have never made sense to us in art. Linked to Eng and Maths for KS3. Just odd.
Maybe why we have such high expectations of every student. Rubbed off through the years and made us such a successful dept in terms of progress.
I always say to my Yr 10 ‘why would you not be aiming for a 9?’ When they ask about their target grade.
Target grades are pointless. For my son they were a big excuse to not work to his full potential, for my daughter, a huge burden of anxiety and stress. Pointless.
Bit late watching Gangs of London. Absolutely loved it.
I have made a PowerPoint of visuals of the art referred to in the AQA fine art gcse exam.
Happy to share if anyone would like it?
