This includes the amazing Gurbax Kaur, a local community campaigner whom I invited as my guest to enjoy the festivities.

I am looking forward to attending lots more Vaisakhi events over the next few weeks.

I am incredibly proud to be part of one of the largest Sikh communities in the UK. Vaisakhi is a time when Sikhs and others come together to mark faith, history, and community.

A very productive discussion with Dr Mahuya Kanjilal from the University of Wolverhampton on a pilot knife crime study she is conducting.

Tackling Knife Crime remains one of my top priorities as the local MP, and I will have campaign updates on this topic very soon!

A fantastic visit to SpaMedica Wolverhampton to meet the dedicated team delivering vital NHS eye care for people across the Black Country.

It’s encouraging to see how high-quality, community-based services are helping cut waiting lists and improve access for patients locally.

Interest rate cap introduced to protect Plan 2 borrowers Interest on Plan 2 and 3 student loans will be capped at 6%, instead of RPI+3%, to provide borrowers with certainty in an uncertain world.

Students and Graduates in Wolverhampton West, this one's for you.

The Labour government is putting a cap on student loan interest rates so that if there is a temporary shock, you won’t feel it in your paycheque.

I thoroughly enjoyed our chat while we walked around the lovely park. He told me about his ADHD and his son's autism, and how personally important it was for him to be raising money and awareness for an issue so close to his heart.
