I'd probably say either Alien or Arrival.
The first is something I never got to experience wholly fresh as the xenomorph and its whole deal were too firmly disseminated throughout modern pop culture that even a kid like me was aware of it.
The second is just a perfectly paced and pitched film.

Low stakes and now pretty outdated, but Boris Johnson talking about his 'hobby' of making model buses was a deliberate attempt to skew Google searches for Boris Johnson + Bus, to keep images of his infamous Brexit Bus down since Brexit had turned into the omni-shambles it was always destined to be.
Interesting cast. I wonder which one is playing the white ghost occasionally seen running through the background of a scene, naked with a big cat-fog statue head on and a fourteen foot sword over their shoulder before dying to some unseen monster?
Oh I'm sure it's fine that a hate group is praising the appointment of someone to a leadership position for an organisation that supposedly has my best interests at heart. Yeah, that's fine, no concern here. Eek.
Made a bloody nice lemon meringue pie today, and honestly it just shows me that I've been a complete idiot for not making a lemon meringue pie every weekend, because lemon meringue pie is, and this may be a shock, a good thing.
Alia(domestic short haired tabby cat) sits expectantly by an empty bowl

Had to go to Fulham Broadway during Football o'clock for the first time in ages today, and was reminded how much I hate Fulham Broadway at Football o'clock.
Alia the cat, sat on my husband's lap, staring at the camera all prim and proper. Her long whiskers on full display.
Look at those whiskers! #Caturday
Me holding my cat, who is looking very serious and commanding in my hand.

He absolutely knows how cruel his policies are, he's awful.

"Nom nom nom, I sure do love eating faces," say the Leopards.
"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Yeah, even them trans, Wes"
So you vibe coded a website and don't fully understand what all the code really does, did you? Do you want the Adeptus Mechanicus? Because that's how you get the Adeptus Mechanicus; techno mysticism and praying to an unknowable machine god to smile upon you.
I think it's just trying to notify you of ALL notifications you've ever had. At least that's what it seemed to be doing for me.

Mate, I just wanted a lager top and a bag of nuts.
Time and time again transphobia is shown to be very unpopular with people once put to them. It only gets pushed by small sect of out of touched, unpopular and hated elites.
Like Scottish Labour who have been a long time joke party after pissing away all their voters.
Howay the lads!
To be fair, Detroit Becomes Human did get me very emotional. Although that emotion was primarily laughter based.
It's a good night to read this excellent piece, on the Orban regime's network of financial support for the nationalist right in Britain.
For many on the radical right, the tills are about to stop ringing.

christ, not to relitigate It a decade on but it's hard to watch people happily waving Hungarian flags and EU flags at the same time and not think "oh right, almost like it's not that fucking hard to realise that you can have and cherish multiple, complimentary identities"
This is the perfect way to have found out.
I guess I also just assumed all that climate change and forever war stuff would eventually lose its appeal with those in power and we'd have a kinder and more enlightened world, so more fool me I suppose.
Well as a kid I always knew there were two things I needed to do in life: become a writer and a woman.
Nailed it on both, but always hoped I'd have more readers, and not have to constantly justify myself and fight for my identity as a woman because there are still so many bigoted wankers out there.
God, that looks idyllic.
Chili me!
