You've heard of Wild Rose? Wow! Such a niche movie! I agree about Bob Dylan and hate it when they clearly don't really play. This is actually pretty good (until the lad plays a guitar). There's an unrealistic level of zero-bum-notes & unexpected chord changes to play on a first try, but hey, showbiz
A film. It came on BBC Scotland (it might be partfunded by BBC) and I wasn't going to watch it! I was half out the door due to the slow pace. The Scottish side of the acting is hysterical! In sharp contrast to the Americans, black or white, who were so animated in comparison to our expression-free!
They are going to plant trees on the bridge over the Clyde at Bridge Street?? This are is totally African nowadays www.scottishhousingnews.com/articles/mas...
We're quite enjoying "Dirt Road To Lafayette" on the BBC right now. A Scottish teen accordion player visiting the US gets involved in the Louisiana accordion music scene!! So strange.
On a side note, when Shereen Nanjiani was doing the News for Scottish Television, her name became infamous for being rhyming slang for "fanny" in #Glasgow. Annoyed Men on building sites would threaten to give an incompetent apprentice a kick up the Nanjiani...
We watched "The Big Sick" movie because of two things (1) it scored high eg 93 tomatoes & (2) It was by written by & starred a Pakistani comedian - the cousin of STV News Anchor's Shereen Nanjiani! Is was not as good as I'd hoped & seemed rather indulgent. I learned nothing new sadly. B movie
Saturday 18th April 2026 at eight o'clock in #Glasgow it's 9.3° and I can see patches of blue sky through the cloud cover. Could be promising! Have a great weekend! #FairOrNay

It's 9.5° at half seven this morning in #Glasgow, Thursday 16th April 2026 #FairOrNay It's cloudy, but sort-of promising because the clouds seem high in the sky. A start full of potential!

It's 3.8° in #Glasgow at quarter past seven this sunny bright morning on Tuesday 14th April 2026 #FairOrNay That's a frosty start, but it's nice to see a sky of clear blue. Gorgeous! Enjoy!

Watching #bbcdn is appalling. All been to Slaters and got a job lot of the same suit. And same suit of cards played, same BS. Why bother voting? Seriously? The only reason to vote is to get the SNP out just for a change of abuser

I notice that all the political parties' #ScottishElections leaflets promise a wonderful future. So you can't believe that stuff. The best way is to decide if you are happy with things or want a change. If you want a change or are unhappy, then don't vote for the SNP. It's really that simple!
These days my bills are paperless, so the only mail I get really is junk mail, even that has diminished; the wee restaurants round here don't even do menus & deals. So it's just political flyers at the moment! #ScottishElections
At quarter past seven this morning (8th April 2026) it's 12° in #Glasgow weirdly warm but dismal looking outside, dull and overcast. Wednesday. Happy Humpday. #FairOrNay
