A full size Maple Skateboard painted with a mix of varnish, red and black acrylic paint. The church was drawn on with pencil and then filled in with small squares of gold leaf and outlined with black acrylic paint. the people walking into the church have been painted.
Copper leaf on a full size Maple skateboard. The peacock was moulded with plaster of Paris and painted with acrylic paint. The twigs and flowers are embroidery which I attached and painted.
Some may think this was a bad idea but I wanted to try using silver leaf and plaster of Paris on a larger scale. I bought a 1930s wardrobe and added peacocks and metallic leaf. It is my new cleaning cupboard :-)

Fabulous graffiti found near Waterloo Station, London. I turned this into a caterpillar screaming into the void.
"The Grass Hopper' was a digital image made from a photo taken in the Graffiti tunnels near Waterloo Station London. I loved making something natural from street art.

"Peacock" Silver leaf on a full size Mable skateboard. The bird has been sculpted from plaster of Paris. To highlight the bird I have added black acrylic paint.

'Manipulated' Another fantastic tiny graffiti found at street level in Venice. I took the image, mirrored it and added an artist hand to the outside if the frame and red silk thread. My question, who is manipulating who?
Lepidoptera - created using only sycamore seeds metallic leaf and acrylic paint.
"The Blue Dragon" created using a photo of a single sycamore seed augmented into a digital image of a dragonfly, printed and cut out. Added to the image are three dragonflies made from painted sycamore seed set into a box frame.
Wonderful graffiti I found and photographed in Venice. If you are ever there look out for Blub's work truly brilliant. I took my photos and presented them as a collage with multiple layers of the collage which I cut to create a 3D work.
My first attempt working with felt on a flat surface. I used as stock image of an owl and work the neutral wool into the owl flying out of the fame.

This work started as a simple photo of a tree. It was transformed digitally by reducing the tree into a silhouette, inverting and mirroring the image. It was printed onto card and over painted using gold acrylic paint.
I called this image 'Breath'
