I gave a genuine attempt to enjoy it. Honestly, it might be okay with a pancake and syrup but assuredly not a dinner food.

I feel queasy. My tastebuds feel assaulted. Genuinely, whoever had this idea, don't have any more please.

If someone left a half-drank bottle of DP open in a car, abandoned it on the side of the road for 7 years, then came back and took a whiff of that DP, that might just be closer to the flavor this had.

It was a sickening sweet and sour flavor that was NOT meant for meat... 6/?

The temperature was perfect but it still somehow retained that mushy sensation of an uncooked sausage.

But the worst part was the flavor... 5/?

If the smell wasn't enough of a clue, the mouth feel should have convinced me to quit while I was ahead. It was unnaturally soft, biting into the casing didn't give that satisfying *crack* or *pop* that a sausage or brat might give... 4/?

The smell permeating out of my air-fryer was only vaguely that savory scent of meat. There was this pungent sour overtone, that overtook the smell of my kitchen and seeped into the rest of my house.

The smell is NOT of Dr. Pepper either. It smelled literally like decay... 3/?

For starters, I really do like bratwurst, it is a comfort food that I very much enjoy

This is not a bratwurst. This isn't a sausage. This is an affront to God... 2/?

So I feel my life has reached a distinct turning point after this bratwurst.

I am a changed person on the after having eaten this.
