REFRESH. A little love and a lot of skill came together to update this backless bench. I worked with an upholsterer to recreate a contemporary version with contrasting leather accents and polished chrome feet. I do this for my clients all the time, so it was challenging to get mine just right.

TOASTED. My summer burnt lawn became an HOA violation after 3 months. A call and visit by local water authorities then I began a journey to replace the lawn with eco-friendly desert landscaping and lots of rocks. I am eligible for a federal rebate up to $3500 for smart watering. #rockstar
