A 13 year old in my county committed suicide yesterday because of relentless bullying. These kids believe treating someone who is different is perfectly acceptable
It is my experience that if the child bullies, it is a learned behavior from the parents.
A middle school student committed suicide in our county today. He was on the spectrum and reportedly bullied relentlessly. The school turned a blind eye and he was disciplined for defending himself. My level of disappointment in our systems have hit a new low. This must stop.
