Any mutuals headed to AGDQ (@gamesdonequick.com)? Trying to find out which 4 or 5 days to book. 🥲

Why did it take 20 years for me to find myself in a position where I can come out of a meeting with leadership and feel like I'm actually pretty damn good at what I do?

Well, now I need to know who your favorite Sailor Senshi is.

Took me almost 10 years, but Twitch isn't even worth the wood on my soapbox anymore.

I need things to be happy about because they're never updating their forum functionality.

We need to bring back webrings. Or 9Rules, but not 9Rules.

A sequence of events:
- I announce thing I've made
- Excitement is had
- People expect to be able to break it
- They are never wrong

There are many communities on Twitch, but this one is... uniquely... mine.

Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos, it scared me off of literally any other dungeon crawler.

Knowing I could move left, the game telling me I couldn't, turning, and then booking it out of my computer room to my bed after seeing the monster that'd inevitably kill me.

Yep. It was my nightmare fuel.

In what was probably one of the best conversations of my nerd life: I spoke with a composer for 45 minutes about the intricacies of why game music is my favorite genre, all the way down to the patterns and instruments used. It was refreshing and a mind expansion at the same time. I fucking loved it.

Deep wounds take time to heal. I think this is one of those. The active infection is gone... at least.

Confirmed, this was said within an hour of meeting you. 😂

Passing the torch to a new generation of leaders would imply that he was a leader to begin with.

100% accurate.

It's weird when you don't vibe with someone that everyone else seems to think really highly of. Makes me think that I'm wrong, but I still can't shake it.

This was me with a good majority of Twitch, then 2020 happened and every year thereafter. People that have earned high praise, don't often get it and the people that don't earn it often do.

Knowing you Rob, you're not wrong, you're empathic enough to try and give people the benefit of your doubt.

"You mean to say that my role is to bring awesome people together and make sure they can build amazing things AND I have complete trust from leadership?"

Yeah, I'm really settling into my new role.

People knew bits and pieces, but that was the first time I've ever provided that complete of a story. I wouldn't've minded the pokes honestly, talking about it helps me cope. I just couldn't do it publicly.

A Reflection on My Time At VShojo After the collapse of VShojo, I'm here to share my story—one of betrayal, resilience, and ultimately finding meaning in the work I did for the talent and fans who deserved better.

I'm thankful I took the time to bring my blog back, as blogging can be its own form of closure.

Jettisoning myself from social media for a while. I’m always open to chat on Discord, I’m avalonstar over there and I’m bryanveloso on Instagram.

We all have to look out for ourselves and each other, and in order for me to do that for those I care about, I need less of all of this.

TFW you’re architecting a small startup… for your overlay system. And you don’t even stream full-time anymore.

Got around to processing some of my favorite photos from the Wairarapa Dark Sky Reserve. First one is of the Magellanic Clouds, the other 3 of the Milky Way. It's still unbelievable to me that we were there AND that I was able to take these.

It's a memory I'll cherish forever. 🇳🇿❤️

I built a working @obsproject.com plugin. Rad. I think I’m the only one who’d ever use the thing, but that pretty much applies to anything I make. 😂
