Some of the earliest work I (don't) have was me trying to recreate beta Mario 64 stuff at the age of like 12 while barely knowing how to use Blender. Everything in this image was a separate cube I would add in and re-scale and nothing was connected properly

I hate my old stuff with a passion but I do wish I archived it all better. Sucks I became an archival freak too late. Gigabytes of old art, mods, models, textures, etc lost cuz I was dumb and just didn't consider storing stuff anywhere else until 3 years ago

People are definitely still doing stuff with assembly because I do it from time to time, but after a certain point people will just say "why not use decomp lol" if you want to add something really advanced
