#HobbyStreak Day 377. OSL work today. Just the OSL on the legs left then weโre done!
Been grinding more Marathon, got a big win in Cryo and Outpost, but Dire Marsh has us feeling like every fight involves 4 teams at once. Absolute meat grinder map!
Primaris Outrider - left side
Primaris Outrider - right side
My third Outrider from this batch of White Scars, highlights still to go. Think I've half a dozen left to base coat in the batch, but I'll stick to highlighting what's on the desk right now.
Black armoured vehicle with white front-end and side pod. It is armed with a top-mounted twin heavy bolter. Vehicle is heavily weathered and partially covered in mud.
Bit of a refresh of a Rhino variant I built as transport for my Ebon Keshig a few years ago. I re-painted some bits, dialled the chipping way back, and added some muddy texture paste to the lower hull.
Happier with the end result now.

3 Mk6 Marines WIP
4 Mantic Plague Zombies assembled
Batch painted the last 3 Mk6 Marines for my tac squad the past 2 days, and decided to get the zombies I need for Firefight built. I despised building the first 30, but at least the next 20 is going to be routine, just mixing them up for unique poses.
That's also 41 out of 50 for my pledge. 3 weeks to go, I hope everyone's getting their final batches ready!
Mk6 Marine Sergeant - front
Mk6 Marine Sergeant - back
Trench Crusade Prussians assembled
Mini number 80, the second Sergeant done. There's a sense of guilt knowing just how many of these I've purchased over the years I'm only painting now, but at least they all look pretty.
Speaking of, I assembled my TC box I talked myself into buying at Christmas lol

Hibou Khan - back
Desolation Marine and Mk6 Sergeant
Bluesky having a blip the past few days looks like. Finished up Hibou Khan and got base coats down on another Desolation Marine and a Sergeant. The comparison between the two is hilarious, one model is more gun than Marine!
I found my Terminator Ancient eventually, he was buried in the back of my storage shelf, but all's well there :)

Hibou Khan - back
My Plague Mule is finished bar a little pigment powder on the wheels, and started Hibou Khan who is just a treat! He's very detailed, but I think he's coming along great.
I assembled a Terminator Ancient a while back and unfortunately he's just completely disappeared. No clue where to, checked all my usual spots. Just one of those days :(

Desolation Marine - back
Mini 76 this year, my first Desolation Marine. Tried to find a way to make the gun a bit more interesting, and I think the decals really push it to feel more integrated with the model, despite being a solid black chonk.
Suboden Khan - front
Suboden Khan - back
And with that the big man himself is finished! The base will get done along with the rest of my Marine batch later this month. He almost feels like a Forge World kit, just a ton of dynamism!
I bless the rains down on Tau Ceti IV ๐ค (I never bought my heat upgrades)
Suboden Khan bike - right side
Suboden Khan WIP
Suboden Khan on bike - left side
Finished up the Khan's bike, and started working on the big guy himself. He's a lot of work and having no good way to hold him properly sucks, but he's still so cool!
That's sadly the way of it when the box is for every chapter at once, and a beginner box to boot. That said, tons of space for freehand patterns has me excited for more White Scars ๐
It's certainly a Marine, but as a freehand painter it's a lovely canvas, and very beginner friendly! Tons of room on that bad boy, and he has a dick cloth too. Folks be working overtime, underselling these new Marines.
I did rough maths on the rest of my pile of shame, and it's definitely still daunting considering how many boxes I still have to get through. Still, it's good to put long term projects to rest.
2 Mk6 Marines and 1 primaris Outrider
Pushing to get all three of these White Scars finished and ready tonight, just black and metallic highlights left. That'll bring me to 74 minis finished.
Image contains a selection of Warhammer 40k miniatures. 3 Space Marine bikes, one Space Marine hero on hover bike, and a large, front heavy airplane-like bomber. They are painted as White Scars, so all white armour, with red accents.
I've been working on a commission recently, this group of White Scars. (Everybody always wants you to paint white space Marines lol)
The base layers are down, now I'm gloss varnishing in preparation for pin washing.

Suboden Khan, bike only - left side
Suboden Khan, bike only - right side
Finished up the inside of the Plague tank, so I can finish up the build tonight and get it all sealed up. Also still chipping away at Suboden Khan, sadly don't have the copper I want for the shield but I can get the rest of the bike finished.
Suboden Khan on Jetbike WIP - front
Suboden Khan on Jetbike WIP - back
Finally made a start on the coolest White Scar, Suboden Khan! What an absolute unit, I've wanted him done since he came out but the weather was horrendous here for literal months.
Mantic plague Murderbirds
Plague Wolverine Tank - right side weathering
Finished up those Murderbirds I mentioned, but wasn't feeling like painting today, so I got a bunch of weathering down on my Wolverine Tank. I never feel right doing weathering like this, but I think it's looking a little more realistic thanks to YouTube tutorials.
