Agree. Sky’s comms from Harrison, Biggar and ROG has been excellent. However the tv director has been shoddy. So many pointless shots of the two head coaches (doing nothing interesting) and live action missed.

GNM, Scott Trust, Tortoise: you may be pleased that the sale of the Observer has gone through but don’t assume readers will stick with you. Disregarding your customers was never a good business strategy.

As a longtime reader and subscriber of the Guardian and Observer I'm disappointed by the complete absence of information given to readers about the Observer sale. Over the last five months the only information I have seen has come via the Press Gazette.

"The Trust claims the Observer was facing an existential crisis. But they failed to raise this once with me during my 6-year editorship which ended last month. And when I asked to address the Trust to make the case opposing the deal, the chair refused."
