I can't wait to play this (I'm clearing current log and waiting for annual leave). I've been waiting for a true climbing game for years.
That makes sense. I'm still learning how changing it affects experience, so it depends on the genre/style you're going for.
I've been playing around with FOV in my walking sim but to the opposite effect, as I feel it needs to be a lower value to be more immersed in the rooms, focusing on details.
That's so sad about your hands. How frustrating that must be.
