I can absolutely imagine, especially since it would come up over and over again. Still, when I needed to hear it, I'm glad that I got the advice.

Hm, yep. I've had to make the hard call to lose... a lot... rather than spend that entire amount again on lawyers in the hopes that I might be able to recover it.
The lawyer I talked to was very frank about this.
Oh, that's BRUTAL.
I'm interested in seeing what you find! Sometimes, restrictions like that can lead to some very creative outcomes, but the question that you're asking of "Who is it for?" becomes especially relevant, I think.
You know, I haven't heard much about them but I kind of like the idea of short dramas? I can sit down with a book or video game for hours, but I don't have the patience for TV.
Same! Although some of the struggle is not getting worse at it again XD
One of my favourite things!
You've got this!
I also have a weird observation from military sci-fi books where people love a character who disobeys orders and wins, but are quick to villify a character who disobeys orders and faces consequences for it.
Have fun!!
I'm pretty sure I've had this feedback in a performance review, which in hindsight raises some questions.
My partner: You said it was a giant spider?
Me: The size of my hand.
My partner: So a very small giant spider.
Had an odd half-awake nightmare where a spider the size of my hand dropped from the ceiling over the bed.
I apparently threw myself out of bed and turned on the lights before staring into space for a bit.
I mean, true. I only ever found one way to deal with night terrors and it was being scarier than the nightmare.
Once, I was told the amount of overthinking that a character was doing was very well done, and my friend doing the reading was glad they weren't the character.
Me:
We *just* had a snowfall, and it melted, and I'm also now looking at what might be real spring with a very suspicious eye.
Although (been a hot minute since I played) it wasn't too bad with the spellblade build, where you could basically go "light attack - light attack - light attack - heavy attack" which would load up and explode several enemies at once with Arcane Bomb.
I RAN INTO THAT PROBLEM, TOO! ๐
I can confidently say I LIKE to do #2. How confident I am in my ability to explain how to do it... less so.
Which reminds me that I need to make a donation to The Canadian Civil Liberties Association
Lyrics: Once full of mercy, full of love, you fear just what I have become / You know I'd walk a million miles to set your world on fire
Listening to some Go! Child because Iove Ruinous so much and I bet they have some bangers. open.spotify.com/track/4VlfRv...
Alpha reader opinions on the narrator/protagonist of the current WIP appear polarized to either "Love them" or "Love to hate them" which... probably means I've done my job well?
A tumblr post that says "the midichlorian is the powerhouse of the jedi".
I've been laughing at this for like 10 hours.
Also, good point on (most of) the main characters from 1800s novels.
I have at least one character that absolutely thinks they're "too much!" Various other characters either agree or disagree. Vehemently. In both directions.
That's how it goes being a person, too (or a facsimile thereof).
I think I'm just at 8
That fits with my experience.
Can do!
Ha, I love this!
If you don't gather up the Legos, then it's just going to be the same Legos you're stepping on all the time, and then no free Legos. Good call.
