Secretary Noem has forfeited her right to lead. I’m calling on her to resign.

Gregory Bovino must also be fired.

Newsom: "I fear that we will not have an election in 2028 -- I really mean that in the core of my soul -- unless we wake up to the code red, what's happening in this country, and we wake up soberly to how serious this moment is."

Never forget this: Working people outnumber the billionaires and CEOs by a huge margin.

If workers stand together, they will win.

Solidarity.

Intellectual freedom is an American value.

Intellectual freedom is an American value.

Today is a great day to remind one another that it’s patriotic to protect the freedom to read, learn, create, and express.

Do not mess with librarians. The inner strength required to meticulously care for history's greatest works of literature and then just let total strangers borrow them willy-nilly is Jedi level stuff.

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.”

A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.

His altruism and generosity was incredibly uplifting. I wish him a blessed journey to the land of beautiful souls. I see you President Carter — I celebrate your wonderful life.

I am so tired of waiting, aren’t you, For the world to become good and beautiful and kind? Let’s take a knife and cut the world in two- And see what worms are eating At the rind. Langston Hughes

A poem by Langston Hughes titled "Tired". It reads as the following:

"I am so tired of waiting,
Aren't you,
For the world to become good
And beautiful and kind?
Let us take a knife
And cut the world in two --
And see what worms are eating
At the rind."

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.
